Loonee Wins One More

After being stuck at 11 points for several rounds, (due to Beng and Pao's for-the-greater-good moves), Loonee wins with a settlement and the merchant development card. Unfortunately, Loonee was too stupid to properly save the screenshot and has no proof. :(

Loonee wins after a noob mistake

Starting with an early 4 : 1 brick to wood trade when he needed a sheep for a knight, Loonee lost his first city to the barbarian. Early 9's and 5's allowed SundownDos to grab an early and almost obscene lead.

Beng and Loonee slowly managed to stop SundownDos's mad rise in victory points. Beng switched Dos's 5 gold for a 3 with an inventor card, and Loonee took longest road from Dos, leveling the playing field. In the process, Beng manages to build 3 cities on his gold hex and ends up getting 6 gold on 5's!!

At the last turn, Dos was at 11vp's, Loonee at 9, and Beng at 8 (i think, beng might have been at 9vp's too). On Loonee's turn, he pulls off a metropolis-merchant-town combo to grab his final 4 points for the win.

SunDownDos Ensures Longest Road For The Win...

Coming off a win from the previous game, SunDownDos picks the new map for the next battle. The final score was as follows:

Loonee - 10

Beng was a factor early game with his early "9" on Gold. Loonee caught up and took the lead mid-game by taking Longest Road and beating SunDownDos to an island explansion taking away much needed points from SunDownDos. SunDownDos wins the game by locking longest road, playing his number spread, and a city for the killing blow. SunDownDos demands that we check the record books for the Longest Ass Road title with his win with a 17 segment Longest Road.

SunDownDos wins a decisive victory in the first ever blogged game of the ongoing saga that is MHSB+1/EggRoom Settler's of Catan. The score is as follows:

SunDownDos - 14
Loonee - 7

SunDownDos was lucky with the dice roll early in the game; hitting 6s on both sheep and wood often. An early Aqueduct and Metropolis placed him ahead of the pack in the game. Victory attained despite attempts to debunk the victor via usage of knights to take away Longest Road from him.
